What if there was a lost Sonic game from the 1990's? Imagine a hidden Sega Genesis game buried in storage. A fan-made remake of the Sega Game Gear title, Sonic Triple Trouble from 1994, Sonic Triple Trouble 16-bit is labor-of-love passion project created by a team of dedicated Sonic fans for the Sonic fanbase.

Swap Heroes

Players can swap between Sonic & Tails at any time. Sonic & Tails can swap who's in the lead at any time. Gotta go fast? Take control of Sonic for speedy maneuvers like Drop Dash and Strike Dash. Need more air time? Switch to Tails and use his signature Heli-Tail Flight to new heights and discover hidden secrets.

Jet Board

Zip across the ice and snow with lightning speed. The Jet Board helps Sonic & Tails cut through the arctic conditions with thrilling finesse and wild abandon. Use it in retro faux-3D snowboarding sections inspired by Sega Genesis classics like Mickey Mania and The Lion King.

Sea Fox

The dark depths of Dr. Robotnik's Tidal Plant are too flooded to travel on foot. Take control of the Sea Fox, Tails' nuclear-powered submarine, to explore the marine trenches and ocean floor. The Sea Fox comes equipped with a Torpedo Launcher and a mounted Drill for breaking through rough terrain.

Knuckles The Echidna

Guardian of the Master Emerald, Knuckles is fierce and strong. Last we saw him, he formed an alliance with Sonic & Tails. Don't be deceived, he didn't get fooled again. Perhaps it's not what it seems?

Race through new stage layouts, new enemies, and all new 3D Special Stages. There's even all new stages not found in the original Game Gear game, like Egg Zeppelin Zone!
